A complementary therapy based on an ancient healing system rediscovered in the 20th century by a Buddhist monk. Reiki is a natural, hands-on healing practice that can support the body’s self-healing ability. It involves the client lying on a massage table fully clothed. During a Reiki session you don’t need to undress like you would during a massage treatment which can be uncomfortable for some people.

Friday, 23rd October is the annual event Feel Good Day organised by the Wilson Home Trust for mothers of children with disabilities.  The Wilson Home is assisting children and their families during difficult times at their beautiful facility in Takapuna.

Shore Natura Health was invited to participate at the Feel Good Day to offer Reiki sessions to Mums staying at the Wilson Home. We understand that a mother never puts herself first if her child is sick and in need of support and help. As a result Mums often will feel drained and fatigue will set in as they try to deal with the daily emotions and challenges.  

Shore Natura Health is looking forward to be part of a team of volunteers to bring relaxation through different modalities and to make this a memorable day for all the Mums staying at the Wilson Home Trust.
